PORT COMMITTEE OF COORDINATION OF PUBLIC SERVICES

The Port Committees of Coordination of Public Services are created through S.D. N° 105/99 with the aim to simplify and streamline the administrative and regulatory processes within the ports that was constituted during the year 2014, acting the General Manager of TSV Port as Secretary.

The information mentioned above, is to ensure the continuous and permanent provision of ports services, in a non-discriminatory manner, and the search for constant improvement in the levels of productivity and efficiency of the port operation.

The authorities and employees of the organs of the state administration that have a direct relation with activities that are developed within the port boundaries must ensure efficiency of the administration, seeking simplification and rapidity of the process and the best use of the resources available; promoting the unity of action, avoiding the duplication or interference of function among themselves and with others entities that execute activities within the port.(article  2, S.D. N°105/99).

CITY-PORT COUNCIL

The Coordination Councils of City-Port are created alongside the Law N° 19.542, which indicates that the Ministry of transport will ensure a harmonious development between the ports and the city,  taking special care of the urban environment, the access roads and the environment.

This promotes the coordination and cooperation between Port Companies and the Community through its authorities.
